Notice of Proposed Property Tax Levy
Fieldcrest Community Unit School District No. 6
I. A public hearing to approve the proposed property tax levy increase for Fieldcrest
Community Unit School District No. 6 for tax year 2023 (fiscal year 2025) will be
held on December 20, 2023 at 6:30pm in the Fieldcrest High School Commons area
(1 Dornbush Drive, Minonk, IL 61760).

I. The corporate and special purpose property taxes extended or abated for tax year
2022 were $10,345,198.
The proposed corporate and special purpose property taxes to be levied for tax year
2023 are $11,240,939. This represents an 8.66% increase over the previous tax year.
II. The property taxes extended for debt service and public building commission leases
for tax year 2022 were $1,372,479.
The estimated property taxes to be levied for debt service and public building
commission leases for tax year 2023 are $1,372,565. This represents a 0.01% increase
over the previous tax year.
III. The total property taxes extended for tax year 2022 were $11,717,678.
The estimated total property taxes to be levied for tax year 2023 are $12,613,504.
This represents a 7.65% increase over the previous tax year.

200/18-75, if a taxing district include all or a large portion of 2 or more counties, the notice must be
published in a newspaper of general circulation published in each county in which any part of the district
is located. As such, this notice will be published in the LaSalle NewsTribune and Bloomington Pantagraph
on Monday, December 11, 2023.
