Public Notice of Intent to Apply for 21st CCLC Grant Funding

Fieldcrest Community Unit School District intends to apply for 21st Century Community Learning Centers funding. If awarded, this funding will support comprehensive after-school programming for elementary, middle and high school students at each of our buildings.

The purpose of the federally-funded 21st CCLC Program is to establish Community Learning Centers that operate during out-of-school hours and provide students with academic enrichment opportunities with other activities designed to complement the students' school-day program. The program will also give the opportunity for students and their families to continue to learn new skills and discover new abilities after the school day has ended.

More information about the grant can be found on the Illinois State Board of Education web site.
